PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainproofing detergent composition for a hard surface having high cleaning effect and stainproofing effect on the cleaned surface and suitable for the cleaning of a hard surface such as plastics, stainless steel, porcelain enamel, tile, glass and ceramics, especially for the cleaning and stainproofing treatment of bathroom and kitchen sink. SOLUTION: The objective stainproofing detergent composition for hard surface contains (A) a copolymer of (a) a vinyl monomer having anionic group, (b) a vinyl monomer having cationic group and (c) a nonionic vinyl monomer at an (a)/(b) molar ratio of 80/20 to 20/80 and a (c)/[(a)+(b)+(c)] weight ratio of 0-50% and (B) a surfactant at an (A)/(B) weight ratio of 1/(1.25-100).
