PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an ink jet image display using an ink jet recording element having excellent adhesive properties capable of laminating on another support for an image displaying application. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an ink jet image display comprises the steps of (A) preparing an ink jet recording element containing a substantially transparent support sequentially carrying a base layer containing a hydrophilic material and a porous material and a porous ink acceptive top layer in this order, (B) printing an ink jet image on the element, (C) contacting the top layer of the element with another base material to form a composite laminate, and (D) applying a heat and a pressure to the laminate to adhere the element to the base material, thereby forming the display. |
