PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cement hardened body having high waterproofness using a cement admixture. SOLUTION: The cement admixture comprises a polyethylene glycol- substituted succinic ester and/or a salt thereof obtained by esterification between (A) a substituted succinic acid preferably with a 6-36C alkyl or alkenyl group and (B) a polyethylene glycol preferably with a molecular weight of 200-1,000.
