PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing the overflow of separation liquid to a collection trough at a time of a rapid variation of the inflow amount of water to be treated, and also preventing sticking of froth to a collection trough bottom part. SOLUTION: In a water treating equipment 1 provided with a scraper 6 rotating in the circumferential direction on a cylindrical treating tank 1, and discharging the froth scraped up by the scraper 6 to a collection trough 8, a liquid level meter 23 is provided in the treating tank 1, and the liquid level meter 23 is connected to an actuator 18 of a water level adjusting device 14 of the treating tank 1 to be linked, and also a back scraping scraper 7 sunk in the water in the vicinity below the surface of the water of the scraper 6 for scraping the froth, arranged along the liquid surface, is provided in a driving shaft 5 erected rotatably in the central part of the treating tank 1, and guide plates 9, 10 for guidance are provided in an overflow part 8a and the bottom 8b of the collection trough 8.
