PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral separating element which has a separation membrane and a supply liquid flow channel material, fixed firmly and in a simple manner and does not use a member becoming a cause for eluation as well as a manufacturing method for the element and a separation membrane module. SOLUTION: This fluid separating element is characterized in that it has a membrane unit comprising a permeating liquid flow channel material and the pieces of the separation membrane opposite to each other, between which the supply liquid flow channel material is sandwiched, around a water collection pipe, and that the opposite pieces of the separation membrane are welded to each other through the supply liquid flow channel material at a position separate as specified from a fold at the beginning of its roll and at both end parts, in the axial direction, of the water collection pipe.
