PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performing/decomposing reactor capable of preventing deposition of carbon on the catalyst surface, low in deterioration of the catalyst performance and reactor tube, and capable of carrying out a long-team stable operation. SOLUTION: To this reactor, a hydrocarbon/steam mixed gas 2 is supplied from the bottom of a tube reactor 3 installing a mixed molten salt storage part 10 storing the mixed molten salt comprising a mixed salt of 50 mol.% of sodium carbonate and 50 mol.% of potassium carbonate and iron oxide, installed in the tubular reactor 3 installed on a reformer 8. The inside of the reformer is heated at a predetermined temperature by generating a flame 5 by supplying fuel and air to a burner 4 installed on the reformer 8. The hydrocarbon/steam mixed gas 2 introduced to the mixed molten salt storage part 10 is promoted its reforming reaction by the iron oxide in the mixed molten salt, and a reaction of the deposited carbon to carbon mono oxide or methane is promoted by the mixed salt. |
