PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the direction for correcting a gradation pattern is shifted from the direction for correcting skew when binary data is subjected to rotation processing. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises a gradation processing means 21 for converting many-valued input data into a binary area gradation, a table 20 for storing a gradation pattern for use in the gradation processing means 21, means 22 for rotating the output from the gradation processing means 21, means 23 for correcting skew of the imaging apparatus with respect to the output from the rotation processing means 22, a shift point setting means 24 for setting a skew correcting point, means 26 for setting a shift direction from the skew direction, and means 25 for setting the direction of rotation. |
