<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image technique wherein ID recording media of different purposes such as a passport and a visa can be issued by one set of an image forming apparatus, especially for the passport and the like requiring a high security property, an overlayer containing security information is provided after forming an image by an ink jet, and for a visa and the like which are low priced and do not permit jamming, they are managed only with forming the image by the ink jet on visa paper of an inside page. SOLUTION: An ink jet image is formed on a plurality of kinds of different recording media based on image information obtained by forming or editing personal information containing the image and a character by a host computer. Whether the overlayer is required or not is judged according to the kind of the recording medium, and the overlayer is provided by transfer on the image of the recording media on which the image is formed by the ink jet for the required recording medium.</p> |
