<p>PURPOSE: To perform camera shake correction with a higher accuracy without receiving the influence of a moving object. CONSTITUTION: It is judged whether each of detecting areas A-E is a valid area or invalid area, respectively by a microcomputer. The detecting area E is moved in a direction opposite to the position of the invalid area. When the invalid area exists on the left side, right side, upper side or lower side, the detecting area E is moved to the left side, right side, upper side or lower side, respectively. In such a way, the detecting area E is moved corresponding to the position of the invalid area, and the whole motion vector is found based on the partial motion vector of the detecting area E after movement and the partial motion vector of the valid area. When all the detecting areas A to E go to the valid areas continuing to a prescribed field, the detecting area E is returned to an initial position. The number of valid areas can be increased by providing the detecting area E moved corresponding to the position of the invalid area.</p> |
