PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a letter rack, and a set tool therefor, wherein papers and the like which are gathered in the letter rack can be easily filed in, and the filed papers and the like can be further fixed to each other. SOLUTION: A means for installing a set tool to the letter rack, and a set tool 16 for the letter rack comprising a presser 1, a hollow shaft 3 having an irregularity 2 on a surface, and a bottom base 4 to which an opening part 13 and a nip part 14 are provided, is equipped thereto. Thereby the papers and the like which are inserted in the letter rack can be easily filed up.
