PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that frost glass bottles have been produced at a high production cost by conventional methods and an environmental problem that scrapings and waste hydrofluoric acid solutions must be post-treated, because, in the conventional production methods, once produced usual glass bottles are immersed in frosting solutions (hydrofluoric acid solutions) to elute and scrape the surfaces of the bottles, thus producing the frost glass bottles having uneven surfaces. SOLUTION: The present invention provides a new production method not using the frosting solution (hydrofluoric acid solution). The method for producing the frost glass bottles, is characterized by especially adding an electrostatic powder coating process for blasting glass powder to a conventional glass production process, thereby enabling the simple production of the frost glass bottles. Since the frost glass bottles having high grade appearances can be produced by one production work, the production method has such a merit that the production cost can be lowered.
