PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medical agent, a food, a food additive, an animal feed, an additive for the animal feed, or the like, having high safety and having antiobesity actions, adiposity suppressing actions, triglyceride reducing actions, blood cholesterol reducing actions, or the like. SOLUTION: An antiobesity agent, an adiposity suppressing agent, an antihyperlipemic agent, an antiarteriosclerotic agent, an antithrombotic agent, a triglyceride reducing agent and a blood cholesterol reducing agent comprise an extract obtained by extracting from a plant belonging to the genus Eucalyptus as an active ingredient. Besides, the food, the food additive, the animal feed and the additive for the animal feed comprise the extract obtained by extracting from the plant belonging to the genus Eucalyptus and are useful for suppressing, ameliorating and prophylaxis of an obesity (an increase of a body weight), lipid storage disease, hyperlipemia, arteriosclerosis, thrombus, or the like, and further for suppressing and reducing a triglyceride amount and a cholesterol amount in the blood. |
