PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a damage and an image unevenness of a support due to a heat of a disadvantage of a heat transfer method by solving problems of limits in a recording medium and a coloring material and clogging of a nozzle of disadvantages of an ink jet method. SOLUTION: A method for forming an image comprises the steps of forming a latent image by giving a latent image forming solution containing a compound represented by formula I (wherein R1 is a hydrogen or the like and R2 is an alkyl group) in an image-like state to a surface of a transfer recording layer (which may be an image receiving surface of an image receiving sheet 11) of a transfer sheet 5 by a discharge head 13 by using the sheet 5 having a transfer recording layer on a support and the sheet 11, closely contacting the surface of the transfer layer of the sheet 5 with the image receiving layer of the sheet 11 by a supporting drum 3 and a pinch roller 7 containing an electric heater, heating them, and transferring a part corresponding to the latent image of the transfer layer onto the sheet 5. |
