PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist grip slowly rotated in the direction of a car body when a hand is released thereoff. SOLUTION: One installation end part 3A of a grip main body 1 is pivotally rotated on a pivot shaft 11 through a movable bearing 9 of a base holder 7 fixable to a car body and a detachable rotating damper 10 stored in a damper receiver 8. Either of the damper outer tube part or damper inner tube part of the rotating damper is fixed to the damper receiver and the other is fixed to the installation end part of the grip main body. The other installation end part of the grip main body is rotatably pivoted through a pivot shaft, on a base holder 34 fixable to the body through a coiled spring 37 energized to the car body side.
