PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fertilizer spreader capable of spreading fertilizer even with low specific gravity in a forwardly fan-shaped pattern without any deviation. SOLUTION: The rotary spreading member 9 of this fertilizer spreader has a disc- shaped fertilizer-receiving plate 9b and six spreading blades 9c and 19 situated above the plate 9b and mounted nearly radially from a boss 7a. Among the six spreading blades, two of them standing against each other are designed to be mobile (mobile spreading blades 19). When a fertilizer of low specific gravity is to be spread, a tightening bag nut 19d is loosened and the inner peripheral side of the mobile spreading blades 19 are put toward the upstream side of the rotating direction and then the bag nut 19d is tightened to fix the mobile spreading blades 19 to a 2nd position P2 (as shown in figure 1(b)). By the above scheme, the fertilizer is held inside the mobile spreading blades 19 within its release position O, therefore the quantity thereof to reach the outer peripheral side can be relatively reduced and also the fertilizer can be released collectively a little toward the rotating direction (the left of the advancing direction) compared to the forward direction at the release position O, resulting in enabling the fertilizer to be spread in a forwardly (in the advancing direction) fan- shaped pattern without deviation.
