PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having a fishhook hooking part capable of sufficiently hooking a fishhook when the fishing rod is stored without interrupting a fishing operation. SOLUTION: The fishhook hooking part 10 has a couple of base parts 11 arranged so as to clip a base rod 1, a U-shaped member 12 connected to the base parts 11 so as to be rotatable to the axial direction of the base rod 1 and capable of hooking the fishhook F connected to the end of a fishing line L and a fixing part 13 for fixing the base parts 11 to the base rod 1. The U-shaped member 12 is a member composed of a metal or a synthetic resin having U-shape. The U-shaped member 12 has moving holes at the both ends of U-shape and the moving holes are each conformed with a couple of moving holes 11a of the base parts 11 and connected with a machine screws 14. The U-shaped member 12 can then take a lain state lying toward the peripheral surface of the base rod 1 and a stood state standing thereto. Besides, the U-shaped member 12 is applied with a force to always take the lain state.
