PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove a clutter without adjusting work. SOLUTION: A hemal wall clutter removing circuit 20 calculates signal intensity with a signal intensity arithmetic circuit 22, integrates the signal intensity with an integrating circuit 23 to determine an integral average, compares this as a threshold with the signal intensity from the signal intensity arithmetic circuit 22 with a comparator 25, and, when the latter is larger than the threshold, opens a switch circuit 21 to prevent transmission of output from a complex wave detecting circuit 14 to a rear stage.
