PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data-downloadable speech recognizing toy device to which data stored in a computer is downloaded by radio or wire and which comprises a speech recognition processing function to utilize the downloaded data. SOLUTION: The data-downloadable speech recognizing toy device is constituted of a download part 100 to download download data from a computer to the toy device according to a download starting code, a speech data storage part 180 to store the download data downloaded from the download part 100, an external speech data storage part 190 to store external speech received through a microphone, a speech analyzing part 120 to compare the external speech data with sample speech data stored in the speech data storage part 180, a toy control part 140 to control the downloading and speech recognition, and a speech output part 220 to output the results of speech recognition by speech though a speaker 223. |
