摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet excellent in the ink absorbability and coating film strength which can meet the enhanced detailedness and speedup of an ink jet recording apparatus. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording sheet wherein at least one ink receiving layer mainly comprising pigment is provided on a support, the ink receiving layer contains silanol modified polyvinyl alcohol and a silica composite emulsion in a weight ratio of 10/1-1/1 range.
