<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device having rapidly increasing internal pressure of an air bag, excellent occupant protection performance, sufficiently protecting the occupant even with a low output inflator, and having a low protruding speed in developing the air bag. SOLUTION: The inflator ejects gas and the air bag 1 starts to develop. A module cover is torn, and the air bag develops until a belt 22 gets strained. In this state, a large tension is applied to the belt 22 and the belt 22 is ruptured. Then, the air bag 1 greatly develops.</p> |
