<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely mark a defect position so as to encircle a defect of pressing flaw, scratch, etc., generated in rolling and to easily identify presence/absence and the defective positions of a steel plate in visual inspection. SOLUTION: In a method to mark a defect position existing in a steel plate on a surface of the steel plate in transferring, a defect 10 is detected by a defect detector, based on the signal of defect detection from the defect detector, two lines of markers 3A, 3B are controlled, thus, a marking 11 showing the defect position encircling the defect 10 on the surface of the steel plate is provided.</p> |
