PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus both for producing a hardened body which enable the efficient mass production of the hardened body from papermaking sludge. SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing a hardened body is composed of a raw material-adjusting mechanism 10 for adjusting papermaking sludge and forming slurry 14, a paper-making mechanism 20 for forming a fiber sheet 26 from the slurry 14, a reversal apparatus 40, a press 50 for pressurizing the fiber sheet to perform dehydration and a dryer 60. The fiber sheet can continuously be formed from the slurry 14 and the hardened body 1 can efficiently be mass-produced because wire cylinders 22A, 22B and 22C made of a reticulated product are used.
