摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an axial deviational error in tapering work on a workpiece even if a moving locus on a wire guide surface and a moving locus on a program surface are dissimilar. SOLUTION: For determining a maximal moving speed in one block of an operation program, a program surface speed on the top of a workpiece W is first set (S4), and based on the set program surface speed, a wire guide surface speed on the moving surface of an upper wire guide is computed (S5). The computed wire guide surface speed is compared (S6) with the upper limit speed into which a maximal speed is multiplied by a given allowance percentage (80%). If the wire guide surface speed is not smaller than the upper limit speed (S6; Y), the program surface speed is inverse-operated (S7) from the upper limit speed as the wire guide surface speed. The feed speed is controlled (S8, S9) so as not to exceed the determined maximal moving speed.
