PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shower unit of a washstand, the upper space of a wash bowl of which can be effectively utilized. SOLUTION: A shower unit D of the washstand has a shower head 6, a preserving part 7 preserving the shower head 6 and a control lever 5 for controlling temperature and flux of flowing water from the shower head 6. The preserving part 7 has a basic component 9 provided on the lower part of a wall part 3 set up in the rear of a counter 2 of a washstand 1 and a holder part 10 which is kept turn-movable and up-and-down-movable on the upper part of the basic component 9 and of which the one end keeps the lower end of the shower head 6 separable from itself.
