PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for drawing an image on the printer and lithographic printing by which a digital process dispensing with a development step is dealt with and many pieces of printed matter showing an unltra-sharp and high quality image can be printed using a low cost device and a simple process as well as an on-printer image drawing and lithographic printing device used in this method. SOLUTION: This method for drawing an image on the printer And lithographic printing is to send out a plate material 9 incorporated in the plate cylinder 11 of a printer onto the plate cylinder 11, then directly form the image on the plate material 9 based on an image data signal after mounting the plate material 9 and thus prepare a printing plate and use it under the described state to successively perform the lithographic printing. Further when the printing is ended, the used plate material 9 on the plate cylinder 11 is taken up into the plate cylinder 11. In this method, the image is formed on the plate material 9 by an ink jet process to discharge oily ink using an electrostatic field. The on-printer image drawing and lithographic printing device is also provided.
