PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable ink jet recording head which can favorably discharge ink drops by preventing electrodes for driving arranged at peripheral edges of a top face from both sides of partition walls from short-circuiting and can prevent an adhesive for joining the partition walls to a lid body from entering ink channels. SOLUTION: This ink jet recording head includes a channel member 10 which has ink channels 2 partitioned by the plurality of partition walls 1 formed of a piezoelectric material and the electrodes 3 for driving set along the peripheral edges of the top face from both side faces of the partition walls, and the lid body 4 joined via an adhesive layer 11 to the top face of the plurality of partition walls 1 for covering the channels 2. In the ink jet recording head, when the ink in the channels 2 are pressed by energizing the electrodes 3 thereby deflecting and displacing the partition walls 1, ink drops are discharged from ink discharge holes 7 communicating with the channels 2. The adhesive layer 11 contains an insulating filler 11 a of an average particle size of 3.0-10.0μm inside.
