PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinkable electric conductive composition which shows no moisture dependence, exerts a high electric conductivity and has an excellent film forming property, moldability, transparency, adhesive property, hardness and water resistance, an electric conductor containing an electric conductive polymer film formed from this composition which shows no moisture dependence, exerts a high electrical conductivity and has an excellent film forming property, moldability, transparency, adhesive property, hardness and water resistance and a process for forming the same. SOLUTION: The crosslinkable electric conductive composition contains a water-soluble electric conductive polymer having a sulfonate group and/or a carboxyl group, a solvent, a silane coupling agent and a colloidal silica. The electric conductor is coated with the same.
