PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sticking method capable of simply and accurately centering and sticking an optical element obtained by molding a heated and softened glass material to a centering fixture. SOLUTION: This sticking method includes a process that a clamp member 4, the optical element 3 obtained by molding the heated and softened glass material with a molding die, and a centering fixture 2 with an adhesive 5 are arranged in a tubular body 1 so that the clamp member 4 and the centering fixture 2 are concentrically arranged in the tubular body 1 to pinch the optical element 3, a process that the optical element 3 is pressed by the end face of the centering fixture 2 and the end face of the clamp member 4 for the centering of the optical element 3 by utilizing a wedge action, and a process that the optical element 3 is stuck to the centering fixture 2 by the adhesive 5 with the centered state maintained.
