DEINKING AGENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING WASTE PAPER PULP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deinking agent capable of producing high-quality waste paper pulp by efficiently removing ink, pitch and ash from pulp slurry in a waste paper-regenerating step and a method for producing the waste paper pulp. SOLUTION: This deinking agent is characterized by including a crosslinked polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride. This method for producing waste paper pulp is characterized by adding the crosslinked polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride to pulp slurry in a flow tester in the waste paper regenerating step or in the upstream thereof and removing foreign matter in the slurry.
