PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical tank having a flat bottom wherein the material cost can be reduced, and in addition, labor at the time of the manufacture can be reduced as well. SOLUTION: An external specified range 33 on the outer peripheral side of a bottom plate 24 is constituted by connecting a plurality of bottom plate constituent bodies 29 and 30 by a butting joint structure by welding. Then, an internal specified range 35 on the central side of the bottom plate 24 is constituted by connecting a plurality of bottom plate constituent bodies 30 by a superposing joint structure by welding.
