PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a transfer belt which permits gases trapped into rubber to escape through the interface between rubber and factice by blending factice and the composition is applied to a transfer belt which is free from pinholes caused by gas bubbles. SOLUTION: A rubber composition for a transfer belt for use in office automatic equipment or the like, is produced by blending factice in an amount of 5-30 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. rubber having a volume resistivity of not more than 1013Ωcm and crosslinking with an organic peroxide.
