FORCEP FOR ENDOSCOPE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forcep for an endoscope having high chemical resistance and sharpness and its manufacturing method, by forming an electroless nickel plating film on the surface of the substrate made of martensitic or austenitic stainless steel. SOLUTION: The electroless nickel plating film 52 is formed on the surface of the forcep cup 47 made of austenitic stainless steel, thereby providing high chemical resistance. The electroless nickel plating film 52 has hardness adequate for the clamp piece and high toughness, so that an electroless nickel plating film layer can be sharpened more easily than quenching steel with the same hardness.
