PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-swing device for restricting the swinging motion by enabling the swinging motion of a swing arm only in a releasing operation in a state that a carriage is lifted down to a lowermost position, and constantly exercising the anti-swing function at a time excluding the above case. SOLUTION: An engagement body 7b provided with a longitudinal through hole 9 crossing a central part, is vertically movably supported by a pair of upper and lower perforated panels 11, 11 at a side of a carriage 2, and a supporting rod 7a pivoted to a side of the swing arm 4 is inserted into the through hole 9 of the engagement body 7b to be assembled. A female screw 10 is formed on an inner peripheral upper face of the through hole 9, and a male screw 8 is formed on an outer peripheral face of the supporting rod 7a.
