AIR LIFT PUMP FOR MINUTE FLOW CONTROL

PURPOSE: An air lift pump for minute flow control is provided, which can transfer a small amount of less than fifty thousand tons per day of sewage and wastewater steadily and quantitatively even at the place that is kept at full level like a settling tank or an aeration tank, so that the air lifting of sewage and wastewater can be conducted without any interruption of operation. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the followings: (i) a sewage and wastewater lifting tank (10) in which an air lift pipe (11) of an open top and open bottom is inserted into water, to the lower part of which an air feed pipe (12) is connected and to the upper part of which a water pipe is connected for discharging air lifted water to a sewage influent tank (20); and (ii) an air lift pipe (11) that is inserted in water of the sewage and wastewater air lifting tank (10) for lifting water from the tank (10) to the sewage influent tank (20), the water branch of which is set above the sewage influent tank (20) for discharging the air lifted water to the sewage influent tank (20), the water in the sewage lifting tank (10) being sucked by aspiration of air that flow through the air feed pipe (12) and the air lift pipe (11) to the end of a vertical pipe (4) at the top and discharged to the sewage influent tank (20).
