PURPOSE: A method for designing spare spaces of a guide hole and a panel in a design of a printed circuit board is provided to set a space of a panel wrapping a guide hole and a circuit pattern automatically by checking and modifying the circuit pattern of a printed circuit board during performing a CAM process. CONSTITUTION: In a manufacturing a film for forming a circuit pattern on a printed circuit board by performing processes of a design, a plotting, a develop, an inspection, a cleaning and a coating, gerber data with respect to a circuit pattern for being formed on the printed circuit board are inputted and stored. The printed circuit board having a predetermined circuit pattern by the gerber data is displayed on a screen. The circuit pattern of the printed circuit board is checked and modified by an external input. A specific printed circuit board is selected from a database being constructed by information in accordance with a manufacturing company, a characteristic, and a specification of the printed circuit board, and a space of the panel wrapping a guide hole and a circuit pattern is automatically designed in accordance with inputting a size value of the printed circuit board.
