PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a microstrip antenna capable of widening or narrowing E-plane beam width without restricting the E-plane beam width even when the dielectric constant of a dielectric material constituting the antenna is restricted. SOLUTION: The microstrip antenna is provided with a non-feeding conductor patch 1 having a size to resonate at frequency lower than required frequency, a feeding conductor patch 2 having a size to resonate at the required frequency, a ground conductor 3, and a dielectric substrate 5 formed between the ground conductor 3 and the patch 2. The antenna is provided also with a dielectric substrate 4 formed between the patch 2 and the patch 1, a feeder circuit 6 for feeding power to the patch 2 and capacitive structure 11, 12 to be impedance compensation structure connected to the circuit 6 in parallel on a node between the patch 2 deviated to the center side of the patch 2 and the circuit 6.
