PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the low reliability of the writing operation in a conventional optical disk device. SOLUTION: By verifying whether the information is exactly written or not before and after the concatenate write starting position on the recording medium, when the concatenate writing is performed at the time of writing the information into the recording medium, the existence of the writing error due to the concatenate writing and the existence of the generation of the following reproduction error are easily and surely detected based on the verification result of a verifying means, thereby the reliability of the writing operation of the information is remarkably improved.
