摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems caused when metallic nickel and carbon powders are used as a conductive agent, and provide a sintering type positive electrode for an alkaline storage battery of a superior cycle property. SOLUTION: In a non-sintering type positive electrode for an alkaline storage battery wherein nickel hydroxide is the main component of active material a metal nitride is contained as conductive agent in the positive electrode.
