PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which can be prevented from being illegally used by other users, even if the portable terminal is left behind, when external equipment is connected to the portable terminal for use. SOLUTION: Once an external equipment connection state detecting means 232 detects external equipment being disconnected from a mobile terminal device MT, an external equipment disconnection-time operation control means 233 performs specific operation, e.g. function locking.
