PURPOSE: A secret camera and wiretapping device detector using a cellular phone and method therefor is provided to save the cost by multi-functionalizing the cellular phone without a wiretapping preventing device. CONSTITUTION: A software for transmitting an induction frequency is installed in a microprocessor(1) for converting a cellular phone function into a detector function. An abnormal electric wave is detected through a mean value and an intensity of frequencies obtained from circumference, and the detected frequencies are stored in the cellular phone. The induction frequency is transmitted through a frequency transmitter(2), and the abnormal electric wave is grasped for detecting a wiretapping device. The detected abnormal frequency is displayed through an LCD(3), and the position of the wiretapping device is grasped through a speaker(4) by voice information. A blinker light(5) is turned on or off by voice information when the abnormal electric wave is detected.
