CLIENT COMPUTER AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily receive a high quality home shopping service by improving the man-machine interface of a client computer being an on-line terminal unit by which home shopping is performed. SOLUTION: When home shopping is performed by the on-line terminal unit based on shopping information which is provided from an on-line server, a request for starting home shopping is received by the on-line server. Then on-line shopping related information comprising a picture of a shopping cart is transmitted and the picture of the shopping cart is displayed on a display. When the indication of a merchandise to be purchased is inputted, the picture with the merchandise in the shopping cart is displayed on the display.
