PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for slip processing, which process entered contents of a received slip in a short time and use them effectively. SOLUTION: In this slip processing method, format information for plural slips 3 and 4 received via a FAX modem 5-2 are held so that they can be taken out, on the basis of telephone numbers of transmission sources 1-1 and 1-2, and corresponding format information is taken out held format information, on the basis of the telephone number of the transmission source related to slips received via the FAX modem, and image data of received slips is segmented on the basis of taken-out format information, and segmented picture data is edited in matching with the format of a slip 6 and is printed on the slip 6 by a printer 5-3. Segmented image data is recognized as character data, and these character data is held with their being capable of being taken out. |
