PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device capable of saving wasteful power consumption, when the device is not used and avoiding anxiety which occurs to an operator by immediately informing the operator of acceptance notice of a main power source cut-off. SOLUTION: In the case a performance judging means judges that image forming operation is being performed (Y in S2), when a cutoff acceptance means receives the instruction to cut off main power source (Y in S1), guidance information to inform the state that the instruction to cut off the main power source has been received is displayed on a display part by a display means (S4). By cutting off the main power source by a main power source cutoff means (S8), when a finish judging means judges that the image forming operation is finished (Y in S6), the operator can acknowledge the acceptance of the instruction to cut off the main power source without hindering the image forming operation being performed even in the case of having received the instruction to cut off the main power source in the midst of performing the job. |
