<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic passenger ticket system which enables a passenger to obtain an electronic passenger ticket speedily anytime and anywhere, can be used effectively for manned ticket examination or ticket inspection and makes the contents of the ticket confirmable visually. SOLUTION: An IC module for functioning as an electronic passenger ticket by performing radio communication directly with an automatic ticket examination device (3) is incorporated in a portable terminal (2) having a communication means, a display means and an input means. Thus, by communication between the portable terminal and a host computer (1) for the reservation and sales of passenger tickets, purchase request and payment are performed and purchase information is downloaded to the portable terminal.</p> |
