<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the same device to have various device constitutions such as the expansion of switch capacity, an increase in the number of accommodated lines, and the redundant constitution of a switch function, without altering the device design by replacing a package as to a data switch device connected between a high-order line and a service line. SOLUTION: The input/output terminals of slots for mounting a high-order line package 1, a switch package 2, and an extension package 3 are made replaceable by being made common as to the switch package 2 and extension package 3; and the output terminals of the switch package 2 and extension package 3 are wired by signal lines A to each other without any mutual conflict and package setting information for actualizing desired device constitution is previously given to the packages 1 to 3 to obtain device constitution having arbitrary numbers of switch packages 2 and extension packages 3.</p> |
