PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high performance and a long service life by forming a bipolar electric charge transferring layer excellent in electric charge tranferring ability, mechanical strength, resistance to products generated by electric discharge, etc., and to provide a process cartridge and an electrophotographic device which ensure high image quality and high durability. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has at least a bipolar electric charge transferring layer containing a hole transferring material and an electron transferring material as one of photosensitive layers. In the bipolar electric charge transferring layer, (1) the hole transferring compound is a hole transferring polyester compound having at least one structure of formula (1) (where R1 and R2 are each H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, halogen substituted alkyl or halogen, (m) is 1-10; and (n) is 3-20) as repeating units or (2) the electron transferring material is an electron transferring high molecular compound. Each of the process cartridge and the electrophotographic device utilizes the photoreceptor.
