FLUORESCENT FILM STRUCTURE, PASTE FOR FORMING THE FLUORESCENT FILM, AND PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL USING THE FLUORESCENT FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance brightness of fluorescent film by making more fluorescent particles in the fluorescent film to contribute to luminescence, and reduce production cost by decreasing the amount of expensive fluorescent powder used. SOLUTION: The fluorescent film 16 consists of an abundance of fluorescent particles 16a, adhered with inorganic fine grains 16c by 1-10% and air gaps 16b formed among the fluorescent particles 16a. This fluorescent film 16 is formed by having the gap 16b at a rate of 40-80%, when it is filled fully with fluorescent particles 16a without gaps being defined as 100%.
