PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord containing structure for receiver that can unobtrusively contain a cord of a receiver and prevent the cord from being entangled. SOLUTION: A side of a main body 1 is provided with a cord support rod member 2 that is capable of standing and falling, and a coiled cord 5 is wound around the cord support rod member 2. When the receiver 4 is placed on the main body 1, the cord support rod member 2 arises to contain the cord 5 wound around the cord support rod member 2 to the side of the main body 1, and when a user lifts up the receiver 4 for speech transmission reception, the cord support rod member 2 is tilted in a direction of the drawn cord.
