PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component in which positional shift of case is prevented. SOLUTION: The high frequency electronic component 10 comprises a multilayer substrate 12 on which electronic component elements 14 are mounted. Protrusions 20 for positioning a metal case 22 are formed on the multilayer substrate 12 and the metal case 22 is bonded onto the multilayer substrate 12 while being positioned by means of the positioning protrusions 20.
