PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke fixing wedge for preventing dislocations or separation of a deflection yoke, when it is fixed to the funnel of a cathode- ray tube, to ensure fixing of the deflection yoke to the surface of the funnel, even if it is formed of a dehalognated rubber material and hardened with dehalogenated treatment for the protection of global environment, and a cathode- ray tube device using the same. SOLUTION: The deflecting yoke fixing wedge 6 is inserted between the deflection yoke and the funnel of the cathode-ray tube, for fixing the deflection yoke positioned to the cathode-ray tube. It is formed of a dehalognated rubber material, which is hardened with dehalognated treatment, comprising a wedge body 14 having two acute-angled tapered faces 7, 8 and a tongue portion 13 which is integrated therewith, and protruded from a rear end 12 of the wedge body 14 on the opposite side to an end 9, where the two tapered faces 7, 8 cross each other, to the opposite direction to the end 9 along one of the tapered faces. With a cutout 15 provided at the rear end 12 of the wedge body toward the end 9, the tongue portion 13 is extended from the rear end 12 to the end 9.
